This has to be one of the more obscure Polls I've entered... I chose powerpoint 'cos it saved my behind so many times with late presentations at school... people seemed to take ages to do the animations I could do in minutes... got some credit for that one!

Powerpoint is a masterpiece. It does so much, if you know how to use it. Can create beautiful presentations for work, school, and anything in between.

Microsoft Word. Every other word processor I have used is a joke. Word perfect sucks, open office sucks, star office sucks. Abiword sucks. They all pretty much do not hold a candle to Microsoft Office Word 2003, and 2007 has a brilliant new interface that I have *REALLY* taken a loving to. I spend so much of my free time just writing away for fun and I really love Word. I have tried pretty much all of the alternatives, free or not, and they just DO NOT match Word.

None. No matter what it does, i use another program for it.

Powerpoint, i loved. But then i found Keynote.

OpenOffice.org took care of Word, Excel.

Frontpage, i use Dreamweaver for.

And I use Illustrator above Publisher.

yeah i agree that the more you know about powerpoint the more enjoyable it is ~ but i enjoy simple things w/ powerpoint - i get annoyed w/ the "fancy" enters and stuff...i usually just use fade in or whichever just pops up quickly...

skye - i soo agree! i had to use word perfect for so many years b/c it was on the home computer (along w/ quantom pro instead of excel) and i agree - misc. word is so much more easier and more efficent than anything else!

Frontpage - for when you need to complete your IT homework the night before it's due in and firing up textmate is too much hassle. =P
