Yeah, I think if you were going to get your nose done that you should get a tiny little stud in it, they look nice but I hate big ones...yuck! Especially rings, and don't like them in the middle part of your nose either.

Don't listen to any of us... except me. LoL! Anyways, I say to do whatever feels right to you. I think that a nose piercing can be worn in a gaudy/ugly way, or a fashionable/cute way. Just take into consideration that even though it shouldn't be like this... people's first impression of you will be affected by it. I'm not saying that it will necessarily be affected in a bad way, but it will be affected. Keep this in mind for job interviews, etc. Nose piercings are generally pretty easy to hide though. I mean, if you get a tiny tiny stud then it'll be barely noticeable. You can also get a clear or skin colored retainer for it, and it will be almost invisble unless you actually looked really hard for it. I actually knew one girl for like a year before I noticed that her nose was pierced. She just wore a tiny silver stud. Anyways, also... I've heard that nose piercings can be pretty painful. The needle is going through some fairly thick cartilage there. I don't know if that matters to you or not, but just letting you know. Good luck!

my honest opinion, and it is just my opinion, everytime i see a girl with a nose piercing-a stud, i do a double take cuz it looks like a booger! lol not to sound mean, but i swear thats the first thing i think when i see it, then i notice light reflecting off of the stud and im like 'oh ok its a nose ring' but yeah...i dunno not for me. do what you want though.

I think that it has become obvious that everyone has different tastes. Two things should be kept in mind, will i want this in 20 years (i'm sure it will heal, but how long do you want it?) and the other who am i doing this for? if you think it looks good go for it, if you want to get it to impress, then DON'T go through with it. personally i have three piercings, and i think that peircings look sexy, but ultimately you have to decide.
