Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Post by Breathe_In_For_Luck7 »

I'm surprised that no one has started this topic yet. So what did everyone think? I didn't care for the epilogue though. I also didn't think that there was any point to including the whole Deathly Hallows thing. I think it was just to make the book longer. Other than that I thought it was great.

I am suprised this took so long. Personally i enjoyed the whole thing. Specially the epilogue cuz it just tied it up and sorta clued you into what was happened to the main characters. That is nice. I have to say though, it was a bit surprising and a bit predictable. Some of the deaths were a huge shock, and others were very predictable. All in all, it was a great book just like the series. Great ending to a wonderful series.

As a side note J K Rowling is talking about writing an encyclopedia type thing about harry potter and what happened to the characters between the final battle and the epilogue.

i liked it a lot.

BUT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO KILL DOBBY?

and Bellatrix.

so cruel.

they were my favorites.

when they make the movie, they better include the part when Mcgonagall yells "Charge!" and everything moves. that was amazing. haha.

and the "Not my daughter, you bitch" line.

if those aren't in the movie, i just might cry.

I was personally disappointed with the ending until I heard about the encyclopedia...

And a lot of the book was a bunch of dead ends.

But I liked the scene between Ron and the horcrux. I was wondering when J.K Rowling was going to get to that inner struggle Ron had been having his whole life.

I SOOO hope that Neville and Luna ended up together. Don't ask me why but for some reason I just keep seeing it happening. Particularly a humorous meeting between Neville's grandmother and Luna.
