I swear that I am lucky.



Last night i was in a major accident that resulted in my van being totaled. What happened was i was driving along and the driver infrot of me suddenly changed lanes. When he changed lanes I saw there was an accident in front of me so I slammed on my breaks and stopped before hitting anyone. Then this half ton truck comes (doing at least 80 kmh cuz the speed limit was 70 and everyone speeds here) and just nailed me from behind. My vehical was sent flying into the accident infront of me. The whole back right side was just done for, it was crumpled in so much it was on the back seats. The rear-view mirror had gone flying, 2 windows were smashed. The drivers seat was twisted so that the right side was bent backwards and towards the ground and the left side was towards the roof.



It was bad... And i walked away with no injuries. I have a sore neck, but no whiplash, no bruises from the seat belt. The doctors got my parents to monitor for concussion, but I dont have one. I got hit the worst and hardest but am okay... We are going to take pictures soon.

I'm sorry to hear about the accident but am VERY glad to hear that you're OK. As you know - it could just as easily turned out to be something very tragic. I look forward to seeing the photos. What about everyone else at the accident scene? Were they just as lucky or was anyone seriously hurt?!

someone broke their wrist, and i need massage therapy for the arm that i was holding the wheel with. But nothing serious. I want to go and get pictures today, but it may have to wait. My dad says he is going to take me. My vehical has the most damage, just because the speed the guy from behind hit me. Yea, everyone was very lucky.
