Venting Forum

there should be a venting forum where no one can reply. just so people can get things off thier chect but dont necessarily want advice for. there is somthing like this is http://www.teenmentors.org and it seems to be working.

As on Depression-Forums.Com... A Venting Forum is always nice.. Gives us a place to just yell, cuss, say whatever is on our minds... No replies, I agree... It'd be nice to see one here.

I've personally never been quite sure of a venting forum.

I mean, sure its nice to rant & rave, but isnt the whole point of posting on the web so as you can get replies, if you want to vent, a lot of the time I use microsoft word & just password the docuemtn.

I guess venting on the web would be easy, but a whole lot more of people can see.

I agree with it on one point, but disagree to another, so basically I'm nuetral.

sometimes people dont want replies, but just to get things off thier chest. if you dont know what i am talking about check them out at teenmentors.org

I don't care for the idea. If you want that, use a journal program like http://www.my-journal.org somethign that is old and stupid, but use it for rants...

i just don't find the idea good for the site...

yeah i saw it on teenmentors.org and i dont really care for the idea either. besides, things that people would most likely "vent" over might just be triggering for other people. on the other hand, it might help just to get it out...*shrug* i dunno

Then why would the be going through them if they're going to be triggered by something?

The Venting forum is a good idea, but not for this site.

It just won't fit for a site this big. And plus, why have somewhere were we can't reply to HELP. TeenHELP. Ha!

i don't know if anyone would want one of these(actualy im sure a ton of ppl would) but...do you think we could have a venting forum..where...no replies are alowed and all...its just to vent..let off some steam..of course you will probably have to make rules about blabbing on other members and such...but..i don't think we would have a prob with that here...and i think it would be a really good idea...and can i go make a poll about it right now?...well..im going to..if im not allowed to make polls like that..remove it..this is just an idea...

i think it's a great idea! sometimes i need to vent and i dont want anyone to reply. and i made the mistake of doing that a while ago. arg. seriously though. there should be a venting forum!!

i think it is a great idea i mean i just wanna vent sometimes and scream and cuss but i cant do it outloud because of my family being home and my mom or sister would find the article on the computer because i dont have the password thing. trust me ive tried venting on a microsoft word document and i wound up hurting someone i love sooo much and i caused her the worst pain ever! and i was just mad so i didnt mean it but i still hurt her. then all journals are found and and read at my house! my moms read my diary before and overreacted so i think its a great idea!

sweet help- u should write 2 diaris, one should be stupid and w'd be placed in ur room, espcially for ur mom to read, and the other u should take anywhere with u and it w'd be the real one....

about the venting forums idea, i think it's not a good one, cause there is the "why me" form, that ppl there come to cry about anoying stuff in thier life. i dun think that another venting forum is needed

no one ever reads journals - they're just boring. When you write in a journal, it's like you're talking to yourself, write it to read it yourself. Sometimes you need to shout out about something that pisses you off, and you need to be heard, but not judget. Therefore, I do find the idea of making a vent forum good.
