I was in a wonderful relationship that I thought would last forever, but no...it lasted exactly four months. Just the day before yesterday he was fine with me. We did almost everything together, spending almost all our waking hours together, eating together, going home together...and I love every minute of his company.
Suddenly he went hme without telling me at all. I took that as a personal insult. That made him not pick up my calls ALL evening, not reply to my cellphone msgs, etc. I cried all of the night wondering why he was treating me like this. Yes it's true, I knew I was cheapening myself trying to ge him to reply, and I cry very easily which I didn't want to do...but I depend on him so much and till that day I though he did too! At least he kept saying he did, and he never complained when I asked him to accompany me when I went to eat etc. Now suddenly he blows up at me all of a sudden...and I simply can't handle it. I had to hide in the bathroom in college so he wouldn't know I was crying. When I asked him for an explanation, at first he evaded the topic, but finally said he needed his space and I wasn't letting him breathe. Which is absolute nonsense, I've been in another relationship and there the complaint was that I wasn't giving him any attention!
Now he says very casually that he wold like to break up. I hate to seem so needy in front of him, so I am hanging out with other peole and trying to laugh and smile, but somewhere in my heart I wish he would miss me and come back to me.
Am I being too unreasonable? What do I do about him? I feel very depressed...

Re: Space
You've gone from the most distant to the most clingy. Find a medeum. In your next relationship - spend a day or two a week without him. That way he doesn't think that you don't care and doesn't think you're clingy either.

Re: Space
Well I guess I'll throw this out, I was in a relationship that was GREAT! I don't know why we broke up haha I can't remember but I'd always see her every 2-3 days, that way she got her space to do whatever she wants and I got my space to do what I want. And when we saw each other it was really nice we would talk about what we did and how I missed her and how she missed me and all that other happy shit. If I were with her everyday we'd have nothing to talk about, you know what I mean, I mean we would just get into useless discussions and conversations and turn into arguments (we argued even with the 2-3 day set-up but it was just me being me and one of the reasons why I loved her so much was because she could keep up with me). But yeah set up a schedule or something you know every tuesday and friday (throw in a 3rd day if you want) and it'll work out......I think....damn I'm getting all nostalgic.......she was the only girl who'd watch a laker game with me......lol I think I got my own problems LOL! WELL GOOD LUCK TO YA!!!!!
