Well I'm an only child, and contrary to others' beliefs it's not that easy. So I may not have brothers and sisters, but who's to say I don't have similar experiences?
I need to know:
What do you do when your parents act more like your siblings, than mom and dad?
Please help, I'm stuck in the middle.

sit them down and talk to them explain to them you need them to be your "parents" and not some crazy kids tell them exactly how you feel about it

Thank the lord b/c siblings can't ground you. Okay, seriously, talk to them. Tell them you need adults in your life right now, and that you love the, but you wish they would act more like parents. That's all... oh, and be nice.. give them big hugs!

i havent expereinced this but iw ould talk to them. communication is key.

It's hard in more ways than one. I was an only child for 11 years until my brother was born. My parents pretty much acted like parents but I know it can be hard because you have to interact with them, like all the time. Especially if they're acting like siblings, it can be hard to get a break because there's no one else to distract them.
