Help.
my mom wants to take me away from my dad whos had costody of me for almost 2 years. the court date is this week. whut do i do?

What do YOU want? You really have to think about that. Since you're older, you have say in what you want, and it has a big effect. Don't worry about hurting your parents feelings. You really need to do what you want.

i want to stay with my dad. my mom used to abuse me. and now everytime i see or talk to her she has to complain about something. im just scared of the possibilyt that she might win. and its always been about getting whut she wants.

Have you told someone that your mom used to abuse you? I think that would be very helpful information for people to know.. and definitely help you stay at your dad's (where you should be). How old are you? Isn't it at age 14 or something you decide where you stay?

Tell the judge how you feel. If you want to stay with your dad, tell the judge that.

Yes, that's true, in most states, you have a BIG say ... in some they will almost always give you what you want, in others, it really depends, but you NEED to speak your mind. If you want to stay with your Dad, you NEED to tell the court that. It's absolutely essential. That doesn't require you to speak badly of your mother, but if you speak positively of your father, that will also influence the court. I'm no lawyer, but I know how these things work to a degree...
