Why Is It Always Me

Post by Orange12297 » Sun Oct 07, 2012 4:00 pm

I feel like everything wrong always happens to me. My family is all messed up. My parents are divorced, my sister moved out, and I never speak to my other family members. At school I am always bullied. People ignore me, the teachers never listen to me, and my friends always pressure me into doing things I don't want to do. I feel like I never have anyone to talk to. I never leave my bedroom, I never hang out with people or go to parties. I just stay at home all the time reading my books. I had problems with pornography in the past, but I'm over that now. I eat whenever I am depressed. I have eaten so much that now I am gaining a lot of weight when I used to be under weight. I get angry a lot and it is hard to hold it in. I wish that my life was normal, I came on here looking for help. For reassurance. Please help me.

I know what you are going through... I've been there and am still there sometimes still. Keep your head up and try to stay positive! Reading books is great :-) try going on walks, going out for yourself...you will feel better and maybe you'll talk to someone new...
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

When I was younger I used to feel that anger inside me too. It is hard to hold in. You feel alone and that there is no one to share these feelings with. My parents are divorced too and divorced when I was 12. It's confusing and hard to take. Are you able to talk to your parents? They do tend to get caught up in there own emotions. But if you sit down with them and really tell them how sad you feel inside, they may listen. As for the anger...do you have any passions? wrighting? painting, singing, music? I wrote all my feeling down and would paint, I still do even. It helps to find a positive out lit. Getting involved in things outside of school can really help too. Find something your interested in and see if there are any groups out there for it. I really got involved in the music scene where I grew up and it helped me to meet new people who didn't go to my school. I made a lot of close friends there. People who went through the same things I did. I know it seems like dark times now...but there is a light at the end of your tunnel. Once you are out of school it is like a whole other world. A world for you to start fresh. These may seem like the most important days of your life...but you are only getting started. When you get up in the mornings tell yourself all the things you like about yourself...even if its just a simple as you like your laugh. Make a list of things you want to acomplish in your life, all your dreams and remember that you are loved. And people do care about you even if they don't tell you enough. I don't know you. But I do care. I hope I have helped you in some way.
