For those who've already had babies

How long did it take for your period to come back?

I had one around New years.. and haven't had one since then.. Before I got pregnant my periods were always messed up so it's not worrying me too much.. Just would like to know how long it took for others. :)

My best friend didn't get hers until almost a year after she had her baby. She was 14 when she got pregnant though, so that might've played a part in that.

I breastfed for the first few weeks, but haven't since then..

It's only bothering me because my doctor wont let me get any birth control until I start >.>

And having our second child right now really isn't in our plans..

Please tell me you guys are kidding..... I like my period... I know that's "odd" but I really do like my period. I have the right to be moody and Matthew can't say anything but "oh G-d the angry woman is back for two days - (sarcastically) Yay... boot camp all over again". hehe....

Well I took a test today just to see, and I'm certainly NOT pregnant. So I'm going to call my doctor this afternoon and ask if I can get depo without having to wait for my period. Having no birth control besides condoms blows.

maybe depo isnt the way to go the firat month maybe see if you can get the morning after pill, that will jump start your period

its been 15 months and i am still irregular sometimes

plus i looked into the iud thing again, turns out with the iuds on the market the risks of sterilization is virtually nul now

Oh cool. Thank. I'll look into the morning after pill... Allen knows someone at his work that could get it for us.

I had a C-Section, so I think it's different. I had mine continuously afterwards, for about a month, a month and a half.

I think the IUD works fine for me, personally.

Good luck, doll!
