I have a friend who is basically addicted to porn, does anyone know any specific porn blockers he can use?

well... i got caught and my parents put net nanny on all the pcs but it wouldnt help him if he knew the password i guess just will power or making him look at disgusting stuff till he wimps outta porn

Hmm....well, many people love porn hun. Thats just the way the world works. I suppose you could download an encrypting device from like http://www.cnet.com onto his comp. and lock out porn. Ummm...he might notice, but then again...he might not..

But it is better that your friend channel his energy to other activities such as sports. So that he will not just think of poRn.

Honestly - this sounds really disgusting and might sound disrespectful or offensive...but it really isn't meant to come across that way.



If you want your guy to stop watching porn - get him to watch "Fat porn" I made my ex watch that and he never even looked at porn again. It made him feel that ill. LOL

There is a difference between casually enjoying porn and obsessing with porn... and if the guy asked for your help then help him the best you can. This isent supposed to be a huge debate on "Why" this guy is helping his friend, just help him find the porn blocker ...geez

Abbi, just to help you understand where his friend is coming from please know that there are such things as literal porn addictions and it's not always just simply "enjoying porn." His friend obviously wants to stop so he should stop. And if it's against his religion then all the more power to him.

Theres not actual physical addiction to porn Kiyotie, sorry, but he's not drinking it, smokeing it, or eating it.

He's watching it, since when do you get addicted to watching things?

I think he just really enjoys it. He can change it if he puts his mind to it, but in my own oppinion, I don't find anything wrong with it.

well i think the easiest thing to do would get a Porn Blocker like Net Nanny and then either have him type in a random password with his eyes shut or he could have you type in the password so he wouldn't know.
