In my country, people saw "Pink" as the gay color....
I guess something only stands for something if you give it a purpose... Some people just don't care what anything stands for. I never knew rainbows were gay, until someone told me the shirt I wore refered to me as being gay...I thought it was stupid. but now I see it differently.

awesome. lol... except i wear purple(my school colors too.) and pink isn't the gay color, i love pink and i know lots of guys that wear pink. Theres actually a new gang ,PBs, that wear light pink and black, but when my "punk" friends wear pink they're gay? how annoying.
<span style="font-family:Georgia"punkrockpimp LJ DOT COM___your so jealous
I dunno colors have alwayz been stereo-typical as far as I know.
Black meant punkish or gothic
blue meant depression
yellow meant happiness (or bright)
pink meant preppy or perky
Orange I dunno
Purple meant gay
Red meant anger
Green meant greedy or Money Grubber o.O
stuff like that
In my opinion the bi color should be purple, and gay should be pink but that's only because I'm bi and obsessed with purple and black...... Don't ask lol
Yeah.. I always wondered why purple was considered the color of gays.
lol. And I also remember the whole teletubbie thing, man that was so stupid, ppl getting mad over a kids show because some creature was purple and had an inverted triangle on its head so it was gay. lol. ppl are great. Anyways I also heard, I think from my Grandma, that purple used to be the boy color. Okay that may not be clear enough so what I mean is that pink and blue are considered the girl and boy colors these days whereas back in the day it was purple for boys and Im actually not sure the if it was still pink for girls?
