1 Million Bucks

Post by DownInFlames »

If you were given 1 million bucks right now, how would you spend it?

Me? I would pay off my education (probably my brothers and sisters too), buy my self and my parents a house (different ones of course), put myself through flight lessons, fly around the world to all the best ski resorts (heli-boarding too), and if I couldn't think of anything else to do, then I would stay at home with my handsome husband, and put the rest in savings to pay for my kids schooling. I also want to vacation on Fiji or some other tropical island. Wheeee!!! :D

I would help those who are less fortunate. I know for a fact money doesn't change me...so I would be just as charitable, with a larger pocket book. I'm sure I'd get myself one or two things, however, I'm not sure what those things would be. Definitely nothing extravagant.

You realise 1 million isnt exactly a lot now-a-days. But if I DID have 1 mil, I would buy my mom a new car (anything she wants EXCEPT a FORD!) and I would buy myself a 02 Sunfire, 03 Eclipse Spyder, and I would sue the guy who ran the red light and hit me. (NO I havent gotten over that yet. lol)

LOL! An interview is where I got this question from! I couldn't think of anything at the time...so I guess I am making up for it, because I sure have thought about it since then.

I would donate 1/4 to the autism charity, 1/4 give to my immediate family, and keep 1/2 to keep in the bank, and use some to get a house in ENGLAND!
Trust me, I know my shit.

Definately pay for school first. Donate some to worthy causes, and put the rest away for a rainy day.

I would drop out of school, put half in savings , and with the other half, buy a tour bus. and raid my room, and the fridge in my house and garage enough to live of of for a couple of days, work part time, and life in my parents driveway until my money triples in amount then i would hit the road and see the country, then i would move to amsterdam, for obvious reasons.

Put it in the bank, and make lots more money off of it! :) I mean, I'm getting by well enough now, so I could totally wait a couple of years to actually spend any of it.

I'd put 1/4 into my education, 1/4 would be spent right away, 1/4 of it would be put in the bank, and 1/4 of it would be used to go to the states (like within 4 years), meet some of my online friends, and probably move somewhere away from where i was born just to force my family to have to make a really huge trip to come visit me :P im cruel and i dislike my parents

First, invest a quarter of it into the stock market. Then I'd buy a new car and a nice system to put into it. Move out of my parents house. Pay for my education. Start up my own production company. Put the rest into the bank.

Oh and a trip to Europe. I would backpack around Europe.

first i would pay for the rest of my brother and sister's college. then put enough aside for me to get through college and graduate school. then i would pay off my mom and dad's house and their cars. then i would have to wait until i graduate high school. i would put off college for a year and buy a plane ticket to germany and backpack through europe for a year and maybe see egypt too. then with whatever is left i would invest half and the other half i would give to charity probably an HIV/AIDS charity.

1) convert it to pounds. I can't work with dollars

2) Get my parents out of debt

3) Get internet access in my room

4) Go swimming with dolphins and probably adopt one

5) "Give it to charity"

6) Buy my friend a car when she learns how to drive.

LOL  Agreed

But I think I'd probably end up in a guitar store spending away. I'd buy a fender jazz bass, and probably a custom shop Fender guitar or something. Couple of Ibanezes, twelve string acoustic maybe? :P

I don't know what I'd do with it after that. I'd maybe go somewhere with my mates.
