Okay! I missed like, 3 daus of school because of shots and stuff. But, we're doing scientific Notation and monomials/Polynomials! I don't understand them! The first question for scientific Notation is:

Write in Scientific Notation

1)4 500 000

2)o.089

3)0.2

4)0.000 055

I CANNOT GET THAT!

Then there is

45 x ten to the power of seven...

and 0.34 x ten to the power of six...

IT GOES ON!!

Then I have to write these in decimal form

2.3 x ten to the power of eight

HELP ME!

Well, the idea of scientific notation goes like this:

you know that 10^1 (10 to the power of one) = 10. 10^2 = 100. 10^3= 1000. 10^0 = 1, 10^-1 = 0.1, 10^-2 = 0.01, and so on.

The idea is, that in scientific notation instead of writing a number like it is you write it as a number between 1 and 10, times 10 to the power of what you need to get the original number.

Example: 20 = 2 x 10^1. Or 456 = 4,56 x 10^2.

So it should be:

1) 4.5 x 10^6

2) 8.9 x 10^-2

3) 2 x 10^-1

4) 5.5 x 10^-5

And so on.
