im just curious what happened to him???? what did he do?

He was making insulting, inflammatory posts and when he was confronted about it he insulted the admin and failed to comply with the warning to stop.

Four has it pretty much right. yes he was out spoken, but theres a thing of being TOO outspoken to where it gets outta hand. the bans only for 2 weeks, from yesterday..... then his name will be unbanned...

As long as people dont break the rules, no one will be banned. They break the rules, they have a right to be punished in some form... and unless the entire board of admins votes unanimously, no one is banned from the site permanently. However, repeat offenders will be brought up before admins so dont think it cant happen to "you" (general public).

yes i do believe so, but the admins and mods, are watching out for the ones that are banned, and makeing sure they dont come back with a new name.

teen help is supposed to be a place where teens can get and give help, with out haveing to worry about being critized or mocked or anything like that. and the admins are just makeing it a nice place to get help. so the chances of someone who is banned getting a new name with out being noticed and being banned again are very slim.

The Admins can block user accounts, ip addresses, and/or email addresses. They are always looking around for someone whois breeching their bans.

Phire, We do allow posters to express their opinions as long as they abide by the rules, people come here to get advice and learn. Not to be attacked by somone who thinks their opinion is better than others. Without rules the forums would be way out of hand, just as without laws we would have no freedom.





-just wanted to clear that up, and let you guys know that the mods and admins are not being mean or abusing their powers, we are simply trying to preserve this awsome site, in order to help as many people as possible

Phire, it is *just the internet*, but when you have people [common example] in forums such as suicide telling suicidal teens "just go kill yourself then", that is indecent and shouldn't be allowed. If you don't tell ppl to not listen to those ppl and encourage them to look beyond ppl like that, then they will listen and it won't help them at all and probably will make the situation worse. it may just be the internet, but ppl still take things personally b/c they're here for help and advice. we have to watch out for ppl who are making this place unsafe for ppl to come and open up their feelings to others. would you want to open up if someone was cutting you down whenever you said something or asked for help? you may say you don't care what ppl think or something in response to my question, but it's rhetorical, so that's alright, say what you must, i'm not asking for answers. <3

The rules are made very clear in the announcements forum. We feel that these rules are rather simple to follow and will enforce them. We allow others to have their say, you are allowed to say just about anything you want, as long as it isn't incredibly offensive to others. The people that were banned were being incredibly offensive to others.

yeah I agree the rules are mainly for ur safety and enjoyment and most of all ur well being on teen help oh and to keep this place in order so it dosent turn into a zoo!!! *MOOO* lol sorry

The problem is though.. sucha diverse group of people on this thing, almost everything can be taken offensivly.

Phire! You are my cup of Jooo! It's true about the suicide thing. I mean i think it's ok when people are comming on here to recover, but when they're like 'aah i want to commit suicide', that always looks a bit hmmmmmmm to me.



I kinda liked Larry. And Helen. All the fun people are getting banned!!!
