OK since I have like a couple of databases and quite a disgusting amount of bandwidth allowance per month on my site..

Is it worth my while installing a forum for TH users to piss about in as they please? It'll be your chit chat forums, only on a different server and stuff.

Cos I'm missing reading crap now.

Yes, I'll be there. Can I piss about certain members of the administration who are taking away our privileges of enjoying ourselves?

Ta Skye, that's the kind of response I was looking for. Just so I know what's going on, cos I wouldn't have minded adding a forum up if it wasn't going to be done here.

I miss reading rubbish, it's a special kind of rubbish you get in the chit chat forums here..

Helen, it's not needed for you to do that. We are taking your "idea" into account and we are going to wait until Invision 2.0 to implement it because it has "converge" built in which will allow the use of the same user database while having totally independent moderators and member groups, etc...

Yeah, that's cool. I did wonder about the feasibility of transferring all the stuff across to another forum after I suggested it.

Groovy. I'm going to sleep now.

Invision is at General Public Release. PDR 3 I believe. It's considered stable.

He has a point Sammy. PDR3 may be "considered stable" but I wont take the risk.

Plus there is no upgrade script for v1.3 until at least RC1.

OK I was going to go to sleep but I looked at the Invision pages instead and 2.0 looks cool and the converge thing looks even cooler.

Yeah, waiting for a proper stable release is better than rushing in to using something which is full of security holes and bugs.

I know. When the 2.0 version does come out though, it'll be much better for the support groups to run under it.

That's fine by me, this isn't MY website which I'm waiting around for something to be done on :)

Are you saying that you would make a mock chit chat (not ran by TeenHelp) but for TeenHelp members who miss their chatting?

I'm down. Why not do it until we actually get it back, because until them it's like four said, only a promise to do something, not acutally do it.
I'm under no illusion

As to what I meant to you

But you made an impression

And sometimes I still feel the bruise
