Ok not all suggestions are random bitchings on the way the site is being run, I think HT is being run very well at the moment, so don't think I'm attacking the site. Anyway, to my suggestion.

Well, since I mod Disorders and General Health I think there are a lot of grey areas between the two. Disorders tend to be of the mental variety, but general health just doesn't seem sufficient sometimes. I propose:-

Health Questions forum - To ask questions about undiagnosed health problems

Mental Health forum - To ask about mental illness and disorders

Physical Illness Questions - (wasn't sure how to phrase that one) To ask about diagnosed physical ailments.

Hope that makes sense! It would make it a lot clearer. I also feel it might be a good idea to have the last one as a sub-forum to General Health OR Health Questions.

I agree. I posted something in disorders cuz i wasnt sure if it went there or in general. This would help clarify alot.

I agree...i rarly go in there...

But as a mod. what i did in sexuality and general school was make a TOPIC PLACEMENT in my forums...Just pin what question go there (similar to whats in General - i think theres still one there)

I eventually took them out of Sexuality because everyone understood and it is good now....I still think ones in General School (sry, my mind isn't working 100% right now...haha...)

So just make a topic and pin it! :)

I understand what you're saying Jeff but it's not the people or the modding (I hope!) that's the problem, it's the forums. They leave it open to controversy about where things go...

Yes, and they is where *You* as mod come in...Start a topic and say what belongs in General Health and what doesn't go in general health...

Does that make sence?

Like put what you feel is General health material and what is disorders...

What, three instead of two? Or even one with a sub-forum?

Like to use an example I saw... something like a pituitary tumour... It was in disorders. Technically, that is a physical disorder right? So it would fit there, but it just doesn't seem quite right. Put it in General Health and ok, while it fits, it is much more specific than general questions?
