Windows Media Player

Post by firesign »

I went to micorsoft supoport center and I couldn't find help that would fixed it. Becuase it already told what I did. I even waited 40 minutes just to download the latest version which is windows media player 10. Becuase I had windows mediaplayer 9 and the screen for playing videos was dark. My new download screen is the same thing. I can't see any videos at all.

You need to go adjust your setting in the player again. its the settings all messed up. it happens after the player was shut down the wrong way or it the music videos that are messed up. maybe your hitting the wrong connection speed.

http://divx-digest.com/software/index2.html#codecs

You need the proper codecs (compressor/decompressor of video and audio)

It looks like your audio codec is installed because the audio works, but it looks like you could use the video codec.

I suggest Nemo pack and Tsunami Codec and Filter Pack. These are found under Codec and Filter Packs : on the URL at the top.

Window Media Player hates me so I use RealPlayer. You might want to try that. I notice for a lot of sites it says view in WMP or RP.

realplayer.com

I do believe. If that isn't the site google Real Player.
You called yesterday to basically say

That you care for me but that you're just not in love

Immediately I pretended to be feeling similarly

And led you to believe I was O.K.

To just walk away from the one thing

That's unyielding and sacred to me

Well I guess I'm trying to be nonchalant about it

And I'm going to extremes to prove I'm fine without you

But in reality I'm slowly losing my my mind

Underneath the guise of a smile gradually I'm dying inside

Friends ask me how I feel and I lie convincingly

'Cause I don't want to reveal the fact that I'm suffering

So I wear my disguise 'til I go home at night

And turn down all the lights and then break down and cry

So what do you do when somebody you're devoted to

Suddenly just stops loving you and it seems they haven't got a clue

Of the pain that rejection is putting you through

Do you cling to your pride and sing "I will survive"

Do you lash out and say "How dare you leave this way"

Do you hold on in vain as they just slip away

Real Player and Real Media suck ass - The RealOne program has "spyware" in it that is not caught by Spyware searching applications because it really is not 'spyware' persay. I found this out when all of a sudden, my parent's computer's hard drive just started working hard.... it wouldn't stop.... I even rebooted and it wouldn't stop. I found out what program was using the CPU and hard drive, and searched it online (i don't remember what it was now... this was 9 months ago - but thing's have not changed). This application that was running was eating all my processing power, and I eventually found out that it sends information to RealOne servers after it's done it's thing. This is a definition of spyware, but within the licences it explains this all and this 'technically' not spyware, but realistically, it is.

Yes, you are firewalling all software out to the internet without your explicit approval (which is a good thing and bad thing sometimes).

I do agree with you that you can block it from sending information to RealOne, but you cannot stop it from processing it's information and using your processing power (your computer will slow down noticibly when it starts, runs, until it finishes it)

Really? I didn't notice. Is there a way to stop it from doing it? Or is it just part of the Real Player?
