Fashion Role Model?

Post by l3rok3n »

Who is your fashion role model? Like who do you look to for guidance with fashion choices?
You called yesterday to basically say

That you care for me but that you're just not in love

Immediately I pretended to be feeling similarly

And led you to believe I was O.K.

To just walk away from the one thing

That's unyielding and sacred to me

Well I guess I'm trying to be nonchalant about it

And I'm going to extremes to prove I'm fine without you

But in reality I'm slowly losing my my mind

Underneath the guise of a smile gradually I'm dying inside

Friends ask me how I feel and I lie convincingly

'Cause I don't want to reveal the fact that I'm suffering

So I wear my disguise 'til I go home at night

And turn down all the lights and then break down and cry

So what do you do when somebody you're devoted to

Suddenly just stops loving you and it seems they haven't got a clue

Of the pain that rejection is putting you through

Do you cling to your pride and sing "I will survive"

Do you lash out and say "How dare you leave this way"

Do you hold on in vain as they just slip away

Possibly Amy Studt and Gwen Stefani. Gwen Stefani has a really individual look and can pull off nearly anything she wears lol. Amy Studt has a hippy-ish look, which I like, 'cos I'm a rock hippie lol. :cap:

Gwen Stefani. With her new line of LAMB clothing, she is one of the perfect dressers - along with her new discovery of Harajuku Girls. She looks pretty when not trying to, designs wonderful clothing, and even has it in her music videos (What You Waiting For?)

I like the Drew Barrymore thing, subdued and slightly boho but she always looks amazing.

I also love Jennifer Garner with her cutesy feminine style (like in 13 Going on 30).

And finally, I love Beyonce because no matter what she wears she looks AMAZING.

I personally don't try to really copy anyone, but if I had to steal someones fashion sense, or compare it to mine... it would definitely be Amy Lee of Evanescence. I love the way she dresses. She combines girly with punk/rock-ish and that's basically what my style is.

I know! It's very expensive, but very pretty. There's this one hoodie I want from her line, she advertised it wearing a white bra, it's black and has in white letters "Where did my Lamb Go?" Have you seen it? It's very pretty, but I look at the ones for sale and they're anywhere from 500-700 Dollars, it's ridiculous!

She's so big hearted

but not so remarkable

just an ordinary humble girl

expecting nothing as we may

to think it's a pretty person's worth

you are beautiful

and you'd better go show it

so go and look again

you gotta be true only if you really wanna go to the top and you really wanna win

don't believe in living normal

just to satisfy demand

Well, if you wanna get free

and if wanna get smart by the sake of your heart

you should own your lame and stand up tall

I'm a poor wayfaring stranger

While traveling thru this world of woe

Yet there's no sickness, toil, or danger

In that bright world to which I go

I'm going there to see my Father

I'm going there no more to roam

I'm only going over Jordan

I'm only going over home

I know dark clouds will hang 'round me,

I know my way is rough and steep

Yet beauteous fields lie just before me

Where God's redeemed their virgils keep

I'm going there to see my mother

She said she'd meet me when I come

I'm only going over Jordan

I'm only going over home

Ellie off of Degrassi...

*giggles* Ellie's fucking hot. Heh, I used to be more like that last year but I've tamed down my gothic-ness since then.
