You like to find the smallest fault in just about anything I say on here. Either you are just doing it for the sake of debate or you really don't understand...
When I mean work I don't mean the work that mormons and catholics believe in.. I'm saying that you can't just be a good person and expect to enter heaven. You need to do things, say things, act in a certain way, you know?
Heaven?

For some reason it seems like you took that ofensively. Alot of things make you a better person. Alot of things make you compassionate. Sure you can have compassion and be a good person through other means. You have no faith in religion so how would you know? Thats like me making rash judgements on athesists without even have a clue about them.
Though if you think about it, look at history, most of the compassionate people(and 'better people') known to all of us have been people of faith(people who had faith i mean).

i didn't take it offesnivly, i just wanted to make a point...
despite the fact i don't have faith, i still feel i can judge compassion and who has it and who lacks it, for one reason or another....
looking into history, alot of people - in fact the majority of people were religious and atheism was not very practical and shunned apon - though through time atheism is picking up amoung people - not becuase compassion is declining, but because people don't find themselves as faithful as in prior eras...

You know me.... I just get into asking questions and such. I hope you weren't offended. I guess I just should be careful with what I say.

I took it as an honest question too.
G-d is not a man, that He should be deceitful, nor a son of man that He should change His mind. (Numbers 23:19)
The fear of the L-RD is the beginning of knowledge; foolish ones scorn wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)
The beginning of wisdom is to aquire wisdom; from your every acquisition acquire understanding. (Proverbs 4:7)
