Perhaps you should not go into it with such a negative attitude, because it will simply breed negativity. If you're so pessimistic about this now, just think, you have 8 more years of it ahead of you, because you're not even thinking about college yet.

My serious and heartfelt advice to you is to not go into this with such a negative attitudes and pre-formed opinions and stereotypes. They probably won't be right, or will be off cue a bit. Relax, and don't expect to hate it. You never know how things will turn out.

Exactly... you 'heard' they were bad. You don't know that yet. So I say keep your prejudices from running away with you. What may be "horrible" for that person may be "a kick ass good time" for you.

That's the spirit! Just out of curiousity, why are your parents making you go?

Ouch, that sucks. I will suggest trying to find a better way out of the school than getting expelled though. Those types of things tend to mar your record a bit. Save expulsion for a last ditch effort type of thing. And even then, I personally would just put up with it. It's only four years out of the 80some years of your life. It's not a huge deal, and if it's a boarding school it's probably going to be a good school, so it would help you get into colleges.

Boarding school can be a blast in high school but you have to make it one. I go to a boarding school in Illinois that is very academically demanding and I still had the time of my life. I'm sure there are plenty of kids going there that feel the same way you do and maybe they'll become ur good friends.
Alive

I used to watch the world pass me by.

I'd sit and wait for it to slow down, but why?

The world gave up on me, that I know.

For the pain goes on, life will no longer glow.

Then one day it hit me like a wall.

There was no reason for me to fall.

For all that I had bottled up inside,

Was a remarkable person waiting to be alive.

chances are there are gonna be other girls that feel teh EXACT same way you do now...and they'll end up becoming your friends. atleast thats what happened to me at my old catholic school.
You know when you're sitting on a chair and you lean back so you're just on two legs then you lean too far and you almost fall over but at the last second you catch yourself? I feel like that all the time.
