This, I know is not the best poem you've read but it's the first I've wrote in a while so please be leniant and tell me what you think.
~*~Struggle~*~
Struggling with weight
Struggling with height
But mostly I am struggling with my so called life
Struggling with pain
Nothing here to gain
And so I find myself dieing in my own little world again
A struggle to survive
To never tell a lie
A struggle to figure out if I should die or stay alive
Struggling with love
With the world up above
The guilt I feel that I should pull and never shove
A struggle just to be
What a catastrophy
Im a girl who struggles with how I turned out to be... me

I'm a poor wayfaring stranger
While traveling thru this world of woe
Yet there's no sickness, toil, or danger
In that bright world to which I go
I'm going there to see my Father
I'm going there no more to roam
I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going over home
I know dark clouds will hang 'round me,
I know my way is rough and steep
Yet beauteous fields lie just before me
Where God's redeemed their virgils keep
I'm going there to see my mother
She said she'd meet me when I come
I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going over home
