Every topic I post in I now get a 'subscription' to the thread.



this is bullshit.



If you want my email adress not to bounce back fix it....

Go to this section of your control panel on the left hand side:



Subscriptions

View Topics

View Forums



Under those links you can click subscibe or unsubscribe.



The emails are your choice and your choice only.....

. Manage Ignored Users

. Email Settings CLICK HERE

. Board Settings

. Change Email Address

. Change Password



REMOVE CHECKMARK IN:



Enable 'Email Notification' by default?

If ticked, choose default type:

Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to.

Under further investigation, I notice that his auto_track is set to 0 (off) (which means you accedently clicked subscribe)





trid member_id topic_id start_date last_sent topic_track_type

Edit Delete 4623 325 41264 1104982649 0 delayed





1 topic being tracked... just unsubscribe it as Mistieflower said

I didn't accidentally suscribe. I clicked "post message" that is all.. and it suscribed me.



furthermore, i took those "corrective measures" and i am still getting emails...

If you're using the IPB Default Skin I believe it automatically checks "email notification with replies" or something to that effect when you do the fast reply.
