Just wondering what you thought :) My laptop is away gettin fixed so I don't have photoshop to take out the little imperfections though :(

What I think would really make these pictures intriguing is if the face and such weren't there in the background. A completely black backdrop and just the hands would be awesome.

Did you use flash on these?

They've definately got a cool idea behind them, but the hand(s) are way over exposed compared to the face in the background.

Try these pics without the flash, it might help.

(It just looks like you used a flash, I don't know if I'm right...lol)

Hehe, Amanda I'm thinking that the flash wasn't used! (Otherwise there wouldn't have been so many shadows - it would have been 'flatter' (less light contrast) and the background would have been much more defined). I think they're very interesting as they are. Its nice to have the hands as such a prominent feature. The first picture is my favourite. :)

The bottom one is a great shot.



you should gradient the first one so the top part stands out more than the carpet.
