A cultural morality based on nonsectarian Christianity? Heh...
People used to think the morals came out of nowhere and never questioned the origin... but what about those the morals go against?

Philosophical Satanists believe in the Self, focusing only on onesself. Even though many have the broader scope that the only way a self can grow is through a healthy community, it doesn't change the fact that a taught moral system is unwise. Not only for discriminatory purposes, but for the countercurrent. For every culture or idea, there is a counterculture, or a rival philosophy. Every Christian, a Satanist or a vampire. Every atheist, a crusader. When the culture becomes opressive or accepts itself as official, the rivals strive to keep it in check by any means necessary...
