Im Not New!

this isnt really a suggestion and i dont want anyone to think im wining but i filled out an application to be a mod and one of the reasons i didnt get picked was because i was new first of all im not new i think the first time i was up here i just turned 13 now im 14 and since they started all over most of the people who've been here for a while it says there a newbie not unless they post alot so i was just wondering were they get the info on who is new and who is old? there where other good reasons why i wasnt picked im not asking for a spot now i just wanna know how u all pick who came first?

I think it is based soley on the post count and the Admin's familiarity with you. Not much else it can be based on. If one of the admins didn't know you they would have every reason to think you are new.

a) post count isn't high enough

the admin that read your app didn't know you ( I didn't do it, cause i know your name)

c) we didn't need another mod for the form(s) you were asking for

its just the post counts shows how decated you are to the site thats all the post count means....

would someone please answer my question like an admin. or mod. !! when lookin through applications and profiles a junk like that how do yall figure someones new?

The applications are read and sorted through by the admins almost daliy....The admins read through them each on their own time and don't discuss between each other is a user is a good canidate. I personally recognize you from before, but I'm sure you probably had someone review your application who didn't know you Don't let this dicourgage you, because being a moderator makes little difference about how people post around here, and you don't have to be a moderator to help Feel free to talk to me next time I'm on if you'd like

Please read the announcements forum in the "New Server" topic. There I explain that all of the applications previousely submitted prior to the server move were deleted by previous webhost and is out of our control. I remember reviewing your application and I gave the reason that your post count isnt sufficient for the requirements of being a SG Moderator.



You and any other applicants should re-submit.

calm down already its not that big a deal.i'v been here for practically a year and a half and filled out an application b4 and wasn't picked.its nothing so just don't worry about it.you can still serve the same purpose,which is helping people.you don't need the ablity to lock,delete,edit, and move topics to help and if you feel there is a post which needs one of those four things.then just PM a mod or admin.
