The Story Of Carol Layman

Post by BittersweetSurrender »

Well, I'm glad we have this forum. I'm going to re-post my story. I've had several people tell me that it's helped them deal with things that lie along the same lines, so I'm putting this back up. It's the story of my best friend, me, and a mess.

And I'm going to extremes

Tomorrow I will change

And today won't mean a thing

I'm a bitch, I'm a tease

I'm a goddess on my knees

When you hurt, when you suffer

I'm your angel undercover

I've been numb, I'm revived

Can't say I'm not alive

You know I wouldn't want it any other way

Oh honey. That story never fails to bring me to tears. *Hugs* As Erin said.... things do get better. Grieving is a long process, but time does heal.

Take care, Love Lena. xx

Being the first time, and probably not the last time I read this, I must say that it brought me to tears. Things will get better soon, as time is the cleanser of all things that have happened, and will be of those that have not.

I read that story from beginning to end and it certainly made me think. Throughout the whole thing I cried. I wish I could say what I learned, but some things can't be said into words. Thank you for posting that. It helps those who have been through that before.

It has touched me very much, and I know that it will not be the last time I read it.

*sighs* I went to my friend's suprise party tonight, and it was great... Then we put in a CD and eventually the song Suga Suga by Baby Bash came on. I hate that type of music, but it practically reduced me to tears because Carol loved that song. I had a flashback to 8th grade at this one dance where we were dancing to it, and I got this terrible feeling of nostalgia... It hurt so much.
