I just moved to a new town last fall, and at my new school, i met this guy, and omg, he took my breath away when i saw him in the lunch room while i was waiting in line.
well, by a really long chain of freak events (i assume it's fate), we ended up being in a play together (a rather stupid play, but none the less, FATE). it took me months and months to build up the courage to talk to him. when i did, it was just alot of small talk.
anyway, after our play was over with, that was pretty much the end of seeing him, except on occassion in the hallway. well, i got really depressed, because i REALLY wanted to be with him. i began devising plans to talk to him, very big elaborate plans, just to see him. nothing panned out, because my plans never worked. i became desperate. i decided to roll the dice, take a chance. i had his friend's email address in my contact list (it had been there for at least 3 years, but i had never spoken to her, mainly because i had no idea who she was, but my friend knew who she was, and gave her my email address....again FATE) i completely spilled my guts to her, and told her what i felt about her friend, and i asked her if she could tell this guy that i liked him. she said she would. well, this is where i made the mistake. i had only just met his friend in person a few weeks before, and took her down to earth attitude as a sign of trust. so i came to school a few days later (after a really long weekend), and the first thing people started asking me was, "hey, i heard a rumor, but is it true? are you gay?"
fortunately, this wasn't the first time i have had to dodge bullets about my sexuality (a guy i was with at my old school decided one day to come out and tell everyone he gave me a bj...true yes...but i wasnt ready to come out). so i told everyone, it was just a rumor, dont worry about it. i took extreme care in taking care of situation. thank god im so masculine, or no one would have bought it.
but still, even after the big commotion, i still never see this guy (he's gay, im sure of it).
i really want to be with him, but now after my mistake, i dont know if he'll ever come around.
what should i do?

well, hun, since you are really in the belief of fate, maybe this whole thing is fate in a different site...maybe its not fate for you two to end up, but maybe it is a situation where it is fate of you admitting your orientation...perhaps??

I think you're putting too much stock in fate. Fate can only open the door, you have to step through it. Or something like that. Just take a chance and the next time you see him in the hall or whatever strike up a conversation with her.

I totally agree. If you want to talk to him, then go up and talk to him.
Harder than it may seem, but I've done what youv'e done...thought up plans and shit.
And you know what? It never works. Go talk to him, get to know him, become his friend, and then see if heo opens up to you.
That's how it works.
Cheers,
Jenna

haha yeah i, too, have thought up convos and plans and everything and they never work and if (for some reason) he says something that you planned in the conov, what you plan on saying you forget because of nerves...
just breathe and approach him...ohh and keep us informed

lol, ok, maybe i emphasized the "fate" part too much. i was only joking about that, i really dont put alot of stock into fate.
i'm going to try talking to him after people stop reminding me about how much of a fag i am for blurting out that i like him.
but awkward moments we've had thus far:
-completely ran straight into him in the hallway (head on...we were both in a hurry)
-he went to go talk to some friends of mine while we were at a restaurant, until he noticed i was there
-got stuck in the hallway together, literally squished together for a long, awkward moment
yeah, it's not really awkward anymore, because it's always happening
hm, maybe there's more to fate than i thought?

fate? hmm, i dunno...its like when you buy a car: it seems like no one has that car, until after you buy it ~ and then its everywhere...
you know what i mean?
like these things could have happened prior but you aren't noticing them until now...
