Am I Bi?

Post by Face Smasher »

OK, so here's the deal. I'm your average teenage guy. I fantasize about girls. But I've noticed that I have some feelings for some guys. They're not sexual. I'd never have sex with a guy. But it's like I love them. Something insie me says it's bisexuality, but I'd never fuck a guy... Anybosy know what's going on?

The only "requirement", so to speak, for being bi is that you need to love both males and females. Not wanting to have sex is nothing to do with your orientation. I mean, I don't want sex, period, male or female, although I am straight. So, if that is a requirement, I become asexual, and thus become a sponge. :P. But no, you are bi if you like both guys and girls, and there is nothing else to it.

Yeah, give it time, soon you'll be a card carrying 'mo.

Ok, I'm kidding. Well, kind of. What I'm trying to get at is that at the young age of 16 (I checked your profile), it's stupid to assume that your sexuality is already set. I mean, your balls probably just dropped yesterday and tomorrow you'll get the first hair on your balls. I, for example, dated, screwed, fucked, courted, and did every other romantic/sexual thing you could do with a girl for a long time. My sexuality developed late. I always had the thoughts, but never stopped to examine them because I figured they were just a normal part of the whole teenage thing. They aren't. In the 6 years (holy fuck I'm getting old) it's been since I was 16, I've changed, matured, and grown a lot. I still think the idea of anal sex is fairly disgusting, and have never had any sort of anal sex, as either the pitcher or the catcher. But I have accepted the idea of my bisexuality. It's just a part of who you are, so don't be afraid of it. And, that stupid old addage, you never know until you try.

well either, like TJ said, you will soon grow into your sexuality...

buti mean i find girls attractive and you feel that connection, though its not a sexual one, you know?

so in my situation i mean i do respect and adore females but i in no way am bisexual just becuase that connection isn't more than a firendship one...

and that seems to be in the boat you are in...

so i would say just see what happens, you know - like don't mentally dwell on your feelings and just let them flow...

you never have to throw a lable on yourself, just act on your feelings and if it turns out that you are bi, thne so be it, and if it turns out that you are hetero, then again so be it....

absolutely what everyone else said.

love isn't mile stoned by sex. it's that connection, like you just want that certain moment your together to last forever.

i tried having sexual relations with another guy. i really had feelings for him, but they weren't sexual, and i thought "well, maybe i just have to push myself in order to be sexually interested". ...big mistake. i ended up practically crying in the bathroom afterwards. it ruined our entire relationship, and i haven't spoken to him since.

i guess what im trying to say is, if you do feel that connection with a guy, don't force yourself at him. let your body and heart do the work, it's always right (that thing between our ears...just a space heater).
