She Was Attacked

Post by Stuck911 »

my girlfriend was attacked at school yesterday. she's not out where she lives because everyone there is very close minded. here's what happened.... her friends have been trying to get her to go out with this guy, and she kept on making excuses. so they kept bugging her to the point of her crying. while she was breaking down, she accidently let it slip out that she couldn't date him cause she doesn't like boys. sure enough her friends freaked out and won't talk to her and spread it around school.... if that wasn't enough for her to deal with a bunch of stupid guys conerd her in the hall and tried to make her do stuff with them.... she's still freaked out and i'm 200 miles away. i feel so helpless. is there anyway i can help her? let her know i'm here for her?.......... any advice would be good.

If I were you I would have her talk to someone at school about it and make sure it doesn't happen again. Also I believe she could file a complaint with the local police department for sexual harrastment. Other than that, just make sure you let her know you are there for her whenever she wants to talk about it.

You can't force her to do anything she doesn't want to do.

Just be her girlfriend and be supportive.

And she lives two hundred miles away?

Did she move or something?

yeah i would say just to be there for her and sit her down and talk (or message) the pros and cons of telling versus not telling autorities...

sometimes in ones mind they believe it will be worse, but when they actually verbalize the pros/cons they see some are foolish, you know?
