Cold Like The Heart

Post by Sliver » Tue Aug 22, 2006 6:30 pm

I want to snap your neck in two,

And leave you for dead, so dead.

Left like my heart in the gutter,

Torn assunder by the hate, the hate.

It was all a lie, you said to me,

I was lying when i said i love you, love you.

Well lets see who holds the cards,

See your love scattered around, around.

Put the nozzle to your head,

Feel beneath my hands the power, the power.

The trigger, cold and thin,

Like the tight lipped smile on your face, your face.

But the trigger isnt there,

The cold and thin line, thin line.

Just the paper, now tear drenched,

Cold like the heart that wrote, that wrote.

the first 2 lines are actually from a Funeral For A Friend song. Anyone familiar with them may recognise the song :P

No I'm not familar with that song but I thought that it was an ok poem I would like it better without you repeating the lines that you did I think it took away my focus.
