skin so white you could almost see through it

and a small face

tangled hair, light brown to match her eyes

scraped hands and knees show how she touched the ground when she fell

thin and from shoulderblades see

her wings

so dirtied, white purity lost

fragile hands straighten the feathers messed and

try to catch tears falling from her eyes

sickly girl so tired, lost, hurting

looking up to see the sky from here below
