Surrounded By Darkness

***The final outcome i was going for was that of overcoming**



Here's something i figured id share with you all. Wrote it back in October. Enjoy.

















Stuck in this place I feel that

of Pain

of Suffering

of Sadness

and Misfortune

Yet I hear nothing

But then I smell your silk like hair and caress your soft skin

This touch, this thought, this moment

It is this that I crave



You grab onto me as if you never want me to go

And I love it but like all things love begins to fade

The thought of losing you drives me insane

I become unstable and will never be the same.



After the pain has subdued I came to you

Not knowing whether it was wrong or right but I just had to try

Upon the approach my heart begins to beat

I am sad I am afraid and then I remembered that pain



Now I am next to you, the only thoughts are that which will keep my sanity

I once loved you; now there’s nothing there.

What we once had can no longer be.



Darkness surrounds me once more

Consuming me

Pulling me deeper

I say hello to sadness once more and greet silence with open arms

For in this darkness these are my only friends



Now a new you has appeared

At a glimpse I peered into your eyes and saw that which I though you were

The kindle within ignited and now I see that you are of true beauty

I sit back and watch in awe

Now I have met a new friend



Today we talked…

Now I know your birthday [ Aug 25th }

…your favorite animal [ Zebra ]

…and seen the secrets within your heart.

We sit

We laugh

I begin to feel as if nothing can touch me

We kiss…



Not knowing what I was doing

I only knew that I don’t want to let you go

I telling you something that’s should never have come out.

And now this high begins to fade

Again I say hello to misfortune and embrace darkness with open arms.



We remain friends but not as would have thought

I realize that we have different lives and we go are separate way

Its at this time the analytical thoughts emerge and I become more cautious

My approach has changed, in a better way

These thought begin to materialize something I would never see….



I begin to watch and take note on people like you

Expression, Movement, Signs

Its like you are involuntarily doing these things that just throw you out there.



From this excitement a door appears now

Now is the time!

Time for me to step out and be free…



I know you from a friend and you have caught my eye

You are something that I hold dear

As I look into your eyes

My heart beings to beat at familiar pace

I let it continue on to the point of happiness

At this time I turn around and open the door to darkness



Hear misfortune is replaced with content.

I am able to cope

Living within my darkness

At times that I see you I am urged to tell you that you are a descendant of a goddess

And that none can compare to you.

Now I remember the past and its solution.



Sadness is passed with a smile

And content is embraced

As I begin to let go darkness begins to fade

No more windows

No more doors

My life is mine

I have made it this way

This is me.

Thanks, it was about a couple crushes back in the day, turns out they dont like me so i moved on.
