Feedback Appriecated :)

Post by Barbies are Evil »

Rest assured, the staff is working very hard on ways to promote HT, but i'm curious, so I want to ask you, the members, two questions.

1) How would you promote HT?

2) How would you actually go about promoting HT?
TJ[10:13 PM]: no not really..... it's all so.... like wow..... screw steps, you took a fuckin jet pack and strapped it on yourself and rocketed your way forward (thats my big bro)

And I'm going to extremes

Tomorrow I will change

And today won't mean a thing

I'm a bitch, I'm a tease

I'm a goddess on my knees

When you hurt, when you suffer

I'm your angel undercover

I've been numb, I'm revived

Can't say I'm not alive

You know I wouldn't want it any other way

Well, how about possibly putting up adds on other websites that teens visit?

It might also be a good idea to provide banners people can put on websites, as like sigs, or for social networking sites like myspace, facebook, hi5 etc.

Heya,

We have some banners for signatures and personal site, etcs on thispage. Just wanted to show you! :)

Though expensive I think that would actually be a pretty good idea.

What about magazines? There are tons out there for teens, and most of them have atleast one article per issue pertaining to the topics in the forum. I used to be subscribed to Girls Life, and I know they had a lot about the issues you talk about! not only that, but magazines reach people everywhere! including therapists, who would probably be inclined to recommend this site if they saw what it was about in a magazine, and doctors' offices, so people would see them alot there. It may be expensive, but I think it would be worth it.

Social Sites!!! Encorporate a live chat type app or section, headache to keep spammers and bots out but it might be worth it.

Getting involved with a particular community, sponsor/participate in events. Make it a place where those that are looking for help can also find some fun in it too.

2) How would you actually go about promoting HT?

I'm actually promoting via word of mouth, possibly adding a link to my social network site.

If i come up with something else i'll get back to ya.
