Recently, it has become obvious that some people around here have problems with how the site is being run (including some of it's mentors)......almost all of them have been silent about their opinions, because they are afraid of being rasterized by the members over it! :D So, I'm here to let you know: Don't hold back any concerns with teenhelp, because that's what this forum is here for, and no one will get mad at you for trying to help TeenHelp's situation.....if you're mistaken about a situation, we'll politely correct you, not insult you :) Again, please don't hold back any concerns you have for the site.....It's important that your view is expressed, and understood. :) If you are afraid of being criticised by the other people in the forums. There is no reason to be afraid of these wonderful people. :)

Woa Amanda has a question. Someone else had posted something like "oh thats great... i can trust you and be open" in this topic.. why'd you guys delete it?

We lost somewhere between a few minutes of posts and an hour of posts right around midnight of March 29th-March 30th because of a server switch, maybe that was it.

We have rules, they aren't that bad, they are reasonable rules. If you follow these rules none of your posts will be edited, and none will be deleted.

I agree....very well said four. There is a fine line that we are forced to draw to keep this place civilized. Believe me, without these rules, you'd see troublesome members left and right, the forums would be chaos and we would wind up taking them offline. I doubt you want that to happen, because I know I sure don't want that.

one thing that i dont quite understand is the flood controll, there is usually only 30 people max online at a time

The flood control is a 30 second time out whereby you cannot flood the message boards with accedental or purposeful posts.



This is to keep spamming down to a minimum.

Make users wait before posting again

Can be left blank for no flood control

Flood control is sometimes annoying if I am replying to more than 1 post within a topic and then I wander off to read other posts while I'm waiting for it to start itself up again.

We are currently compiling a FAQ. Until that is posted, and with any questions not mentioned in it, ask someone. Make a new topic or PM someone you think would know. We are here to help and try to make this as easy as possible to use.
