Best Friend

How can this be happening? Why is it always me? Do you ever ask yourself these questions or do you simply want to vent? Do it all here, we'll try to help.

Best Friend

Post by JazzIsLove »

My boyfriend of the past two months is the most incredible boyfriend I could ever ask for.. and I love him dearly, and I know that he loves me more than anything in this world also..

But I'm giong off to college in a few months (24+ hrs away) and I don't know why but no matter how much he tells me he won't, I'm just afraid he's going to forget about how much he cares for me now, and that he'll find some other girl back home..or something.

I put this in self esteem because, well it's not really a relationship problem.. it's just my irrational fear that he'll leave me! how do I fix this? or at least lessen the fear..??

Ah I forgot to add in that my 'best friend' (as per title) has been nagging at me to break up with him, and she's also been calling him alot of bad names and all that..

And I'm afraid too that she's eventually going to wear down my self-esteem that's left and well, that's not right lol. I think that's whats causing my irrational fear..but id ont know

*sorry if this post is confusing.. its late and im VERY tired lol*

When you're at college, bring a scrapbook of the two of you doing things together. To remind you of all the good times you've shared. And schedule a regular time to talk to your boyfriend on the phone and write him letters and such.

And (remember back when you posted about going away gifts in relationships?) make him that calendar you were going to make him. So that he thinks of you every morning. And write him letters and send him cute things. Like bags of Hershey kisses and hugs. Things like that.

And try to remember that he's CRAZY head over heels in love with you. He's not going to forget you or fall for another girl.

And tell your best friend that you're HAPPY with him and her jealousy isn't helping things.

 You two can make this work, I'm sure of it.

Thanks for replying :)

As an update, I called my friend a week ago and told her I needed a break and that she'd hurt my feelings and evrything and I asked her to stop calling me and being stalker-ish for the next week. she just called today and left a voice mail saying "hi..call me back..i guess...if you want" so I don't think i'm ready yet so im going to wait a few days.

As for my boyfriend..he's in Tennessee right now, has been for a week :( and I miss him terribly and he was threatening to leave early and come home tomorrow, but I yelled at him to stay there and spend time w/ his family and stay until the 27th like he is supposed to.. I don't want him changing things just b/c of me.. and he kinda yelled back last night and criticized me of not wanting him to come back home..but yeah we kept talking and he just misses me alot.. and he's turned down the many offers his dumb family keeps making for him to get together w/ some girls out there..so I guess I'm feeling a little more secure in this whole thing. Although, now I realize how much i'm going to miss him when i'm gone for 2 months or more at a time in miami :sadbye:

Anywho, I think I def. gotta look into that whole calendar idea thing a little more now..know of any good sites where I could find them online or anything??

^ A photo calendar site, if you want to do that.

And it seems you two are very much in love. And love can handle distance. So have faith. :)

It seems to be that you two are very much in love. I can tell from way over here in Texas. So, hang in there and if you two WANT it to work, then it WILL. Trust me.
