Being Accepted

haha, i don;t know its soo weird to have mys exuality accepted - like now that i am in college i have talked to some people (though my fears do kick in and prevent me from talking to too many people) and i am in this living and learning community and one of the mentors and a friend (someone i met online, hes a senior, but nice and all) said they were going to take me to a gay club next friday (18+), its just weird b/c all my hs i was out but i was never like out, you know? like yeah i admitted i was gay and would talk about guys but that was as far as it ever went (except that wk at pfew) but htis is soo weird (alot better) but weird being accepted and actually encouraged to act with my hormones...haha

See? College can bring good things. Now, do you think that, with time, you will be able to feel completely comfortable and have a relationship with a guy? Because in all honesty, that's what matter's most(non academically). Your ability to feel free and have an even greater time than you had in high-school. Good luck hun. I'm glad you're having fun. what do you mean that's as far as you ever went. How much further do you want to go?! Please don't become one of those over the top gay activists who even responds to a simple 'hello' with 'I'M GAY'.

People in college are more open-minded, usually, so just be yourself and don't think your sexuality has to define you in the college life. In the end, people don't really care about your sexuality, but some people still persist to make it a big issue that needs to be pointed out... over and over and over again.

yeah i think i am ready for a relationship, though it will be kinda odd at first (mainly b/c i haevn't been in a relationship for like 5 years) but i assume i will slowly adapt to it, you know?



ohh - no i could never be one of those people who says "im gay" right out front - its just like i would sit with people and admire guys but i would never confront them b/c 1) they were all straight (or at least seemed straight) and 2) my friends highly disapproved of my sexuality though they loved me as a person
