(official) 2008 US Elections

Post by SirPostAlot »

This will be the Official 2008 US Election discussion topic...

I found this website (http://www.selectsmart.com/president/2008.html) *just skip through the ads*

it has a quiz about what you feel is important and then will give you the top results for you...

After you do that, click on any of the names and it will pop up to an area where you can compare and read through any of the peoples profiles and viewpoints who are running for office...

my top was Al Gore (no shock there) and after that was Guiliani...as of now, i am leaning more toward Guliani because i really agree w/ everything he stands for (the main difference b/t he and gore is the minimum wage - which i DO NOT believe should be raised...i mean yeah i work for minimum wage, but economically speaking it is not practical - it will just discourage people from college becausae they can get "good" paying jobs elsewhere w/o future education...)

It gave me a number one choice of Kent McManigal, a Libertarian, not surprising as I am a member of the party, number two was Ron Paul, Republican, and number three was Kucinich, Democrat.

I looked at myself

So many things I hate in me

So many things are so hard to believe

I can hear the whole world calling me

Used to be all that i wanted

You to see all that i you to be

I'm not surprised. Democratic is generally the way I always go.

~~Kimmy~~

She's so big hearted

but not so remarkable

just an ordinary humble girl

expecting nothing as we may

to think it's a pretty person's worth

you are beautiful

and you'd better go show it

so go and look again

you gotta be true only if you really wanna go to the top and you really wanna win

don't believe in living normal

just to satisfy demand

Well, if you wanna get free

and if wanna get smart by the sake of your heart

you should own your lame and stand up tall
