Have you spoken to him about how you feel? No joke, Communication is the key to a good relationship. If one person is holding back, your relationship is going to fail
As for prom, Go to it. I went, stayed for an hour, then spent the rest of the night at my boyfriends house watching movies and dancing with him. Best prom night ever. No one said you have to stay for the whole thing. Besides, you never know, you could actually have fun.

Cindy is right. Communication really is the key, so many problems can be avoided by just talking.
I agree on the prom issue - if you feel able to compromise, just going for an hour or two could be an idea.

Yeah, go to prom. I could have stayed home, and not shown my face there because of stuff that's happened to me, and nobody else would've thought any less of me for not going. I went, stayed for a couple hours, and left to go drinking with a friend. It was the absolute best, not because prom was good, but because I decided to give it a chance.
