I think I recall a thread about having a forum for 'inspirational' suicide topics, where those have been or are suicidal could post their experiences, or anything else nice they had to say.

I can't remember the outcome of that thread, or if it even happened lol, but it would be nice to have a positive side to the suicide forum.

Why not have a pinned topic where people can post 'inspirational' thoughts, experiences, quotes... That would help a suicidal person or whatever?

I seem to remember, skye i think it was, saying that if enough people wanted it they'd look into it...

Seems like nuffpeople want it to me o.o A form its self would be a great idea, but if y'all 'er so dead set against that, i think i pinned topic would do well too.

sounds good to me...especially since i've gone through several bouts of being suicidal, so i know i would have wanted one at that time...

Now only admins, mods and supermods can post in there so pm one of them and they will add your quote or story to it

I am woundering why you decided to have only mods and such beable to post in there? I'm sure there is some admin-ish wisdom behind that, would you inlighten us?? lol

i think it was made so that the mods and admins would have a better time keeping track and making sure that nothing bad goes in there?? hrm not sure *shrug* oh well

Completely true. Since it's a "reading" forum, it is easy to keep track of everything if only an admin or supermod or mod posts. I do agree it doesnt allow feedback, but then again, that's where the depression forum comes in. This forum is specificaly reading good stories "authorized" by someone in charge.

All mods, regardless of their forums can post in here, so please everyone use all mods, supermods and admins to post things.

It keeps it easier to manage that way.. because the posts are modded before even being posted *with FEEDBACK* if disalllowed..... rather than a simple "no post" senario which is what our forum software would do if i chose to have all posts moderated first.

btw, i read the entire post about 8 times before i made my decision to put it on... (8 times cause i was at work and inturrupted by customers)
