Some, I mean a lot of you don’t know who I am but I have a 4 year old daughter. I love her to death but sometimes I just want to scream and say “I give up …” Wait a minute, that’s everyday! I talk to a lot of girls my age and they say how lucky I am to have a kid and are jealous as they want a kid themselves, but what they don’t realize is that it is a lot of work. Even if you have lots of help, it is still hard and when I say hard I mean harder than what anyone can tell you! You have to work to support you and your child, go to school so that you don’t end up as a McDonald’s worker all your life, and you already know how hard it is to get things done with everything going on now, well wait until you have a child. I never do homework from school until she is in bed because she needs my attention. You know how you go and spend the night with your friends? Well never again can you do that unless you pay someone to watch your child over night, and that is even more money coming out of your pocket that you don’t have! I work one job and I am still depending on my boyfriend and my parents to help me with out with the bills and stuff.
Now time for the good reasons of being a teenage mother. You have someone that depends on you every moment of every day and you can look at them and say, “I made that.” “She is mine.” and you get loved all the time. For me she got me off using drugs and going down that bad road that I already started peddling down. I have grown up because of her and I’m not to into the whole drama thing! She has shown me how to live life with no cares! it the most awsome thing ever! I just wanted to let some teens into a bit of my life before they think about having a child of their own.
