    • Sep. 13 – Helpnet was relaunched.
    • Jun. 12 – Dustin was removed from being an administrator.
    • Feb. 19 – Cindy was re-added as an administrator.
    • Jul. 23 – An agreement with Winston Cheng, the current owner of the domain name TeenHelp.org to sell the domain to Adam Marshall was worked out in a very complete contract, almost out to the point of completion (it was in its final reviews), and then a very disturbing thing happened. On Wednesday July 21, Adam received a call from the San Jose Police department, from a Detective who wanted to speak with him regarding TeenHelp.org and complaints filed from Winston Cheng. Adam called him back on the 22nd of July and it was brought to his attention that Winston Cheng was trying to file a criminal case against him for the content of the website. After a thorough preliminary investigation the Detective concluded that this was not of a criminal nature and therefore no criminal investigation will become of this. He also shared an example of what type of deal this was. “Just because you own a business, and sell the storefront, doesn’t mean that the purchaser owns everything”. Because of this incident, Adam has good reason to not continue en route to purchasing the domain TeenHelp.org. Winston has already tried to file a criminal investigation with Adam, and they didn’t even have a contract at that point, imagine what Winston could try if he had a contract. Adam made the final decision that he will not be pursuing this matter any further as it is not a very comforting thought of what may happen.
    • Jun. 25 – TeenHelp became HelpingTeens.org, owned by Adam Marshall. Adam was also trying to negotiate a way of regaining the control of the domain name TeenHelp.org from Winston Cheng.
    • Jun. 16 – TeenHelp.org was sold on eBay to Winston Cheng for $3501 USD.
    • Jun. 12 – Due to unforeseen technical difficulties, we have had to revert back to a Support Groups database backup made at noon on the 10th of June, 2004. This means we have lost all posts made to the Support Groups made between 12 PM (noon) EDT on the 10th of June and 9 PM EDT on the 10th of June. We did everything in our power to get them back but there were serious errors with the server software during a software upgrade that was being done by our web hosting company.
    • Jun. 22 – TeenHelp Lounge was brought back after almost a month’s removal. The posts in the TeenHelp Lounge still still do not count towards members’ post counts.
    • May. 31 – The Support Groups Moderators have had their roles and responsibilities changed. They were a screened mentor who is supposed to help users with their problems AND keep peace and enforce the rules in their respected forums. It changed to them just having to keep the peace and enforce the rules in their forums. This is to make the Support Groups more of a ‘group therapy’ place where anyone can offer advice and to make the position of a Moderator and SuperMod more administrative in responsibilities.
    • May. 24 – TeenHelp Lounge was removed (hidden and read only) as the consensus on the forums was that helping has lowered and the chit-chatting has increased and everyone was requesting everyone to help more.
    • Jan. 06 – TeenHelp.org fully transferred registrars from Network Solutions to GoDaddy for a cheaper domain name registration rate and a much better service than what Network Solutions provides.
  • 2003
    • Dec. 21 – Unfortunately, NitrousIS took a turn for the worst but they were able to secure us at the last minute, donated hosting with their host provider, Jonathan Slivko.
    • Nov. 11 – John from NitrousIS has graciously donated hosting services to TeenHelp.org.
    • Nov. 09 – Cindy Resigns
    • Oct. 19 – Forest (Screamincharlie) is appointed as the new Chat Administrator and Jared (FiZzBaW) is appointed the new Support Groups Administrator.
    • Sep. 07 – Goof Muilwijk, from InvisionSkins.com created & donated a new website design that was applied to the entire site. For the first time ever, every aspect of the site uses a universal feel.
    • Jul. 20 – All posts in the TeenHelp Lounge will no longer count towards members’ post counts. This includes the Introduction forum as well.
    • Jun. 24 – The domain name, TeenHelp.org, was stolen by an individual who’s identity still remains at large. The domain name was posted up on a NetFirms free hosting account as if it were for sale. We spent a great deal of time working with Network Solutions and fully regaining control over what was rightfully ours on July 6.
    • Mar. 02 – Sammy Emptied the Sex Sex Sex forum after being fired but before the Administration was able to remove his access. He forced us to revert to a backup where we lost about 10 hours of posts. He was later banned.

    • Dec. 16 – The Support Groups were re-started from PHPbb to Invision PowerBoard.
    • Dec. 14 – Greg Harvey, although he did not officially own the website but had all the control to it (Branden and him were still negotiating), gave Phillip Zedalis complete control over the entire website. Phillip Zedalis makes himself Board Chairman, Jacob Wilson becomes Director of TeenHelp.org, Laura becomes Assistant Director of TeenHelp.org, Adam Marshall (OverDrive) Becomes Chat Chairman, Shane (four) become Chat Assistant Chairman, Cindy becomes Support Groups Chairman, Dustin becomes Assistant Support Groups Chairman.
